Beach Cities Accounting provides accounting and business consulting services along with QuickBooks setup, training and maintenance.   We help business go green using the latest technology to create efficient paperless accounting records that can be accessed in the office or remotely.   We combine our hands on expertise with QuickBooks with our financial background to guide our clients to increase cash flow and profitability.

Kristin Boroystan is the owner of Straighten Up (www.straightenupwithkristin.com).  Kristin is a school counselor who became a professional organizer and established Straighten Up because she loves to recreate the feeling you had on the first day of school when everything is organized and the possibilities are endless.  She understands that to be successful you need to have a solid, positive base on which to stand.  Her clients establish that base by being organized within their daily lives.  As they organize themselves they feel good about who they are and are open to more experiences. Once they experience successful organization they are able to reach their true potential

Kathy and Kristin recently won a Women’s Small Business Pitch Competition held at the Skirball Center.   The competition was organized by Count Me In (www.countmein.org) and sponsored by Sam’s Club.  Sam’s Club donated $750,000 to underwrite the Count Me In program in Los Angeles, Charlotte and Detroit.

Kathy and Kristin want to continue to share the energy, inspiration and bonding that occurred through the practice pitch parties and the competion with other women in the South Bay.
